Tarred Stoop

The stoop is tarred & framed, ready for sand concrete & pea gravel. I will wait a day or two for the tar to set up a bit. 

Exposed Aggregate Finish

This is a new project I am about to begin. The front stoop is lower then the sidewalk by about an inch. I am going to build up with exposed aggragate. I etched it with muratic acid. now I have to paint it with tar for good adhesion. This hopefully will keep it from cracking becuse in some places it will only be an inch thick. More pictures will follow as I do them.

Home Made Awning

We started this project 3 days ago, finished today.
My wife did the sewing on the canvas, I did the hardware
from 1/2 " conduit. Turned out pretty well I think.

This is the last house my wife & I built. We designed it together. 

Backyard Light House

A light house I built in our back yard, with my reliable helper. The light house had a lite that worked, The bottom was used to store garden tools. We also built 5 houses together. I will show you the last house we built in a new post. 

Bud Vase Holder

My wife designed it & did the scrool saw cutting. The wood is a scrap piece of pine She wants to redo it in poplar wood. Good job I say keep up the good work. She will be 80 in October. God Bless Her !

Restored 1967 18' Cobia

I love projects. I have done two conversion vans, restored a 1967 18' Cobia boat 16' Cobalt, repair anything that breaks, Did a 1974 Cadillac Edorado. Looking for people with stories of simalar interests. Have included some pictures.
