Florida is notorious for mold. This awning was spotted like a leopard. Tryed Clorox did not a wisker, so I will try painting. It took 2 coats for the spots to go. I am satisfied for now, hope it will last, the material is canva

The screens under the awning were all rotted,
so had to rescreen 4 of them. Used fiberglass screening material.
Came out O.K.
